10. PICTURE FIELDS

At the top right-hand corner of the OVERVIEW panel there are some small coloured rectangles about 6 x 5 mm in size. These are markers to indicate whether there are any pictures associated with the record concerned. If a small picture appears there, then a larger image can be seen by moving the entire screen to the right, using the slider bar at the bottom of the screen. The larger 

These pictures are drawn from the VOCABSPIX database, and are linked for the most part through the ‘Scientific name’ field, for most of the picture relate to fauna and flora.
